Torei in few words.

I've been linking to torei.wikia.com/wiki/Torean a lot lately to define what I think is essential for something to be set in the Torei setting.  RingMasterXero suggested I paste the key points in here, as it's the most concise definition of the setting so far:

At its heart, there are only a few basic elements of Torei that are important:

1. Earth is gone and forgotten.
   
2. Women outnumber men on the planet Torei.
   
3. High-tech and traditional BDSM are part of the way of life on Torei.
   
4. The three AIs are inscrutable mad gods, keeping Torei a backwater while trying to finish its biosphere.
   
5. Torean biotech can do some amazing things.
   
6. Torei is hard to get to from the rest of the cosmos.
   
7. Humanity rules space alone.
   

You can pick and choose which part of this set is important to you, and craft a ringdom of your own in which to set your work.  Any of the aspects you don't want to deal with you can just ignore or work around. Don't sweat the details!

I'm interested in hearing what folks think of these seven rules.  Are they too specific?  Too broad?  Do any of them ruin your appreciation of Torei?  Does reading this list change your mind about what you thought this was all about?
